Ed Monk has been researching and providing training on the Active Shooter threat for over 17 years. He speaks to law enforcement agencies, schools, universities, churches, and businesses nationwide. He has been an invited speaker at numerous international and national conferences. Ed is a law enforcement officer, firearms trainer, retired Army Officer, former schoolteacher, and author. His formal education includes a BS in US History from West Point, an MS in Education from Kansas State University, and hi is a graduate of the US Army’s Command & General Staff College. He is the author of the book, First 30 Seconds.
